A few months ago i had a virus that really messed up my PC. To start with it had removed important vital windows programs.
some how after long hard time i managed to get my PC logging into windows xp. using an xp installation disc.

when i click on Start and move mouse over All programs ( The menu does not extend.) Also drag does not work or any ie programs.
It wont even install any update or run any windows programs to even let me have chance of fixing it.

I cant just delete all my creative work that i have saved on my hard drive and re install it. Its way too much data.
Plus i don't have access to any other storage.

Does any body recognize this problem?

Lucky i had firefox in an old folder.

I really need to work ie because its vital for me to log into a virtual world online.

I would be amazed and really happy if i could get back on as normal.

The only thing i have been able to do on my PC is go on facebook through firefox.
