Synaptics TouchPad mouse dont work at startup
I have Acer D150. Im looking for solution at the moment.

Sometimes when i start the laptop and the mouse driver wont load properly so i have to use keyboard to go Device Manager and click Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad and rightclick and click Uninstall. The uninstallation went successful and the touchpad is working. But the problem occurs when i shut down laptop and next when i wish to use the laptop the problem's there.

Computer help from Paltalk advised me to uncheck and recheck Synaptics mouse on msconfig and i tried that and it didnt work.

Been went to PC World this afternoon and show to man and he checking and puzzling and advised me that he think mouse driver wasnt the problem but something is affecting mouse driver so advised a reinstall of XP. That why im looking for more solution to repair the problem without reinstall of XP.

Thanks for help.

I do not undertstand. The touchpad works properly after removing its driver?

And when you say that the mouse driver won't load properly, what actually happens?

Have you visited Acer's website and installed the latest driver that they offer for the touchpad on your computer model? While your are at it, install all the latest drivers for everything from Acer for your computer model.

I think i know the problem, I asked in Computer help in Paltalk and they asked need to update drivers perhaps other system driver so they suggested Driver Detective. I downloaded and installed and noticed that i got 8 out of date driver and most of them is updated and had to paid to continue, I got second thought is to uninstall them and install DriverMAX and scan and download all system drivers that is up to date and install in my netbook.

Next time when i start up the netbook and the touchpad is working okay. I will mark this as solved as i need to do start up to check to ensure to work.
