Unhappy Computer turns on, but no attached devices will.
Hello.

A few days ago, I was playing Oblivion IV when all of a sudden, my monitor shut off. So, I tried to turn it back on, but I realized that the monitor was on the whole time, but it just has an orange light instead of a blue one. This means that the monitor is receiving a signal, but the computer is asleep. However, I am very sure the computer did not go to sleep.

The same happened with my speakers. They stayed on, as they were still getting power, but they did not play any sound.

When I reset the computer, these problems persisted.

I opened the computer and cleaned out all the dust, but this had no effect.

Here is my system information:

Windows XP Professional SP3

Acer Aspire 1200
1GB DDR2 RAM
ATI Radeon X1300
AMD Athelon 64

I currently have no internet.

But see, I can't. My monitor won't turn on, so I can't see what I'm doing. No safe mode.
