Do you even have a graphics card??? Is it integrated to your motherboard? In that case, it's a graphics chipset. Are you on a laptop?

Determining PC Motherboard Chipset Using Device Manager.

To determine the Chipset using Device Manager in Windows XP:
  • Right-click on My Computer
  • Choose Properties.
  • Click on the Hardware Tab
  • Click the Device Manager button.
  • In the Device Manager, open the 'IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers' category.
You will see your chipset brand there. It could say Intel, VIA, NVidia, SiS, ALI, etc. This is the chipset brand that you have. It may also be possible to find out which model chipset you have.
  • In the Device Manager, open the category System devices.
  • In that category, find the driver listing for the chipset for System and Graphics Controller, or Processor to AGP Controller.
It may say something like these examples:

Intel 955X Processor to I/O Controller - 2774, which would mean you have an Intel 955X Express chipset.

Intel 82810eDC-133 System and Graphics Controller, which would mean you have an Intel 810e chipset.

Intel 82865G\PE\P Processor to AGP Controller, which would mean you have an Intel 865G/PE/P chipset.

Nforce4 PCI-Express Root Port, which would mean that you have a Nforce4 chipset.

Often the chipset will be contained in the 'System devices' category and will be the last of all the listed 'Intel' or 'Via' or other manufacture in a row.

Keep in mind that it may not be possible to identify all brands and models of chipsets, but the above methods will identify quite a few.

It could be a display driver issue if it affects other actions. Problems with Adobe flash can also be affected by the browser using it; I've had the most issues with Firefox and typically use only IE or Opera when I want to view HD streams.

I don't know the extent to which Adobe uses DirectX but you might want to try this also:

run dxdiag and once it finishes opening, select the "display" tab.

Disable then re-enable all the DirectX "Acceleration" features.

HI Phantom,

Under IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers, I see "Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller". Under System Devices, I don't see any of the Intel, VIA, Nvidia, SiS, etc...The only related item I see is PCI.

Is this sufficient enough for you or you want me to go more details??

Right-click on an empty space on your desktop. Select Properties to open your Display Properties.

Select the Settings tab and click on Advanced. Select the Adapter tab. What does it say?

Hi Rollin' Dog,

Under Display > DirextX Features

DirectDraw Acceleration: Not Available
Direct3D Acceleration: Not Available
AGP Texture Acceleration: Not Available

The "Disable" bottom beside all 3 of them are not applicable. They are in grey and I cannot click on it.

Could you post a new HijackThis log? I want to see what you've unchecked from your Startup list.

I think this could be part of your problem:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [???6] "C:\Program Files\¿á6Íø\¼«ËÙ¿á6\Ku6SpeedUpper.exe" /start

Quote:
It seems to trick people into thinking it will speed up/cache the video feed from a site similar to YouTube but in China.

I see. I do remember downloading the Ku6 program thinking it would speed up the Ku6 video, but it didn't work so I deleted that long time ago.

Would that program interfare with Adobe Flash Player?

Do I need to remove that completely or what do I do?
