Network computers don't see one another
Hi there and thank you for your help.

* Two PC's
* Nr1: XP Prof SP #3 with Kaspersky Internet Security
* Nr 2: XP Prof SP #2 (I have just formatted this machine.) No Anti-Virus installed yet
* I have installed Resource Kit Tools for XP on this machine and applied the following settings:
net user guest /active:yes
ntrights +r SeNetworkLogonRight -u Guest
ntrights -r SeDenyNetworkLogonRight -u Guest

I have NOT installed RK Tools on PC #1 yet, but have run the network wizard on this machine.

My network's name is "Kantoor" (Afrikaans language for Office).

For some reason these 2 machines don't see one another. It picks up the network but the moment I click on the network, it bombs out, saying it can not connect to the network as it is not available.

What is the simplest way of getting my network up and running? I need this to work as my printer is installed on PC #2.
I have done this many times before and now I can not get it working. Do I need to run the "Network setup Wizard"?

Please help me to get this network working. I am on the brink of formatting PC #1 as well ... should I need to.

Regards,
Deon
