ok when I did the repair I got to a screen that says please wait looking like a windows load screen it froze there. so I rebooted it loaded windows to a log in screen try to log in and it says you can't log in without activating widows. click ok and it sits there with the mouse not doing a thing I let it sit overnight without it ever bringing up the activation screen. I can get into safe mode but you can't activated in safe mode nor can you access the networking features from there

I just reinstalled XP and started over since I had everything backed up
