Okay this is driving me nuts. I know about adding a key to the registry as described here:
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,1202672,00.asp
What it doesn't tell you is if you
DO have something that says DWORD in the registry.
I'm not sure if I should add NoLowDiskSpaceChecks or not.
Here is what is in the registry:
Name: NoDriveTypeAutoRun
Type: Reg_DWORD
Data: 0x00000095(149)
So now what? Do I still create a new one?
While I'm at it and if the answer is yes, I want to be sure I understand PC Mag's instructions. It would be like this....
Name: NoLowDiskSpaceChecks
Type: Reg_DWORD
Data: 1
Is that right? Or can I just change the one I have to 1? Ugh. I'm not sure.
Before anyone advises me to clear space, I plan on it.
Thanks to anyone who can help!
