VIrus Despite Re-Install
Last week I seem to have picked up a nasty one in WIn32. Just bought a 1TB HDD so decided to back up all files & re-install XP thinking this would fix the problem. But No...

...Plugged in 1TB HDD into newly installed XP machine, immediately Zone Alarm picked up virus then it picked one up on my C drive, gutted.
Please, anyone got ANY ideas to get rid of these virus'? Another re-install is an option?

Any suggestions welcome!

Thank You

You could try reformatting the C drive, provided that you've already tried deleting or quarantining the virus using your antivirus software.

Your backed up files were most certainly infected too.
