Unhappy Computers scroll by themselves
My boyfriend has a computer thats about 4 or 5 years old and every once in a while it will scroll on its own. We will just sit there and watch it scroll, no one touching the computer. And its not like its random its like its really looking for something like if a person was on it. This is a laptop so the ball on a mouse doesn't need to be cleaned. This computer is an XP.

His other computer is a laptop and has Vista and an HP. Its never been on the internet until recently and now its doing the same thing. Both computers have virus protection with the newest versions from AVG. He scans them nightly.

He thinks its ghosts messing with him because he said they've been bothering him his whole life. I want to see if its anything technical. But the fact that its 2 different computers is whats weird. I've searched the internet and haven't found anything simular.

My computer I have which is a dell laptop with XP has no problems like this. I also don't have ghost problems...btw we live in the same house and are on the same wireless network.

So any ideas?

This is a wild guess.

Check that Remote Assist is not checked.

Images on this site below will show you how to check. Should be the revese shown.

Otherwise, perhaps your boy friend is trying to propose and get you yo visit to the Vicar!

Any particular time this occurs?
