Solved: Some program parts just appear blank white.?
I am having a weird issue with my programs. I really can't describe the issue in detail, so I will have to show you some screenshots. Basically whats happening is that some parts of the programs appear just white. For example when I open photoshop, and at first the user terms of service is suppose to come up, but I get this.

Another example is when I go to the help topic on any program it just shows part of it, so I opened paint, clicked on help topics and this is what just showed up.

Another one is when I try to open my game chronicles of speellborn this shows.

I also tried by turning my firewall it still didn't work. This is only happening my new computer. The old one was fine.

So if any one help me out it would be great.

My comp specs are
Core 2 duo 2.66ghz
4gb ram
windows xp x64 (64 bit)
quadro 560fx

Welcome to TSG!

Close all windows.
Click Start | Run.
Type, or copy and paste, the following three lines one at a time, pressing Enter after each one. There is a space between the different colors:

regsvr32 jscript
regsvr32 vbscript
regsvr32 /I mshtml

Reboot -- not sure if it's needed, but can't hurt.

If that doesn't work, and you have IE7 or IE8 installed, uninstall and re-install that version.

See if that helps.

You're welcome.

Did you have to re-install IE, or did the three regsvr32 commands do the trick?

I did what you said I typed those commands, then I uninstalled internet explorer 8. After I restarted my computer, I had 2 new updates, one was ie8 and the other was security update for java script. After that was done, and I restarted, it worked perfectly!!
