Solved: Korean Windows Xp. Please help!
So, I came to Korea to teach English. The computer I was allocated has Korean as its default language. Unfortunately, for some reason, I don't have admin privileges. This means that I can't change the language settings (I have tried... correctly I hope). Not one of the other teachers here knows how to give me either the privileges or change the language settings. Effectively I just want to be able to work on office. If anyone has any advice on how to change it for either office or Xp it would be hugely appreciated.

I'm running Xp home edition, 2002, service pack 2. Office 2007.

Thanks.

You should contact your IT Service desk to request them to change the language for you or ask them to grant the privileges you are asking for.

Your machine was locked down for a reason by your IT department, and you should not be trying to circumvent (or hack) your account. Please read your company's acceptable Use Policy....

Will do. Thanks for the advice. I don't however think that changing the language settings on Office, if its even at all possible, would be an infringement of company policy. Tech support would take weeks to get here since I'm stationed in a rural area. And its run by the government.
Any solutions/suggestions would be great.

If higher privileges are required, and you don't have them, then there's nothing we can do to help.

Thanks for the quick reply.
If theres nothing to be done then I'll just have to go through the official channels.

Thank you both for helping.

I'll close this thread now since there's nothing we can do to help in this situation.
