forgot password for computer!
just started up a dell dimension 2350 that was closeted for five years. forgot password. no important files on computer, but want to use it to run magic jack. is there a way to get the thing to the point where it will load magic jack? is there an f button that will get me to the point where i can start windows? it is the windows prior to xp. thanks.

Since you say that there is nothing of importance on the drive, your easiest solution might be a clean installation of Windows that is compatible with Magic Jack. If you don't use the computer's original recovery disks, you will also need to locate and install hardware drivers for your particular motherboard and operating system.

The site rules prohibit helping with any kind of password hacking or circumvention.

FWiW, you posted in a forum reserved for sharing interesting computer tips that you have found, not for asking for tips or tricks to solve a problem.
