XP Auto update - stop ?
I sometimes have to use my laptop on a 3g card. Bandwidth can be very hit and miss at the best of times and sometimes windows will start downloading updates. Is there a service / process I can kill or a way to temporarily stop the downloading without stopping it permanently ?

Right Click on My Computer and select properties. On the "Automatic Updates" tab select "Notify me but don't automatically download or install them". Click OK.
