Trying to restore computer (keyboard error)
OK, I have been trying to restore my Dell Optiplex back to the factory setting. I got the XP disc to reinstall it. But when it is all dont it stes on the "waiting" screen with a smaller pic of the windows colored icon. And it just sits there. I tried rebooting and pressing F1 or escape and all it says is "keyboard error". Can anyone please help me??

I've seen this several times with Dell PCs. The PS2 ports on the PC have a habit of flaking out. The keyboard will still work in Windows but you can't get to BIOS and the PC may take a long time to boot up and even run slow. Swap the PS2 keyboard out with a USB keyboard and that should fix your issue.
