Windows XP asking for Password on new install.
XP Pro SP1, Upgrade from XP home. Drive reformatted. No passwords set but asking for passwords for all users including administrator in Safe Mode. If I try to leave password out it gives me a domain warning. I am reinstalling but I wonder if anyone knows what causes this.

Sounds like you have your network set for a domain instead
of a workgoup.
Right click "my computer" and click properties.
Click the computer name tab.
Click the change button to change it.
All computers on your network should have the same
workgroup name.
