Solved: Problem installing microsoft update
Hey guys!
I got this new game and at some point in the install proccess it stops and it say that "External Installer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." and the game is not installed properly.

I was told that i should get Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) , so i went into microsoft site and downloaded it and when i tried to install it gave me the same external installed problem.

So i was looking in those forums and found that it was recommended to download new Windows Installer (KB893803) and when i downloaded it from Microsoft site and tried to install it said "Setup has detected that the Service Pack version of this system is newer than the update you are applying.
There is no need to install this update.|

So there is nothing i can do? i must install this visual C++ thing so i can play my game.
Waiting for a reply ,
Thanks!
