Question Administrator and User account both have unknown passwords.. anyway to get in?
hi.
i recently received a problem where my laptop wanted me to type in the password for my account. however, i never set a password and i only noticed a few days ago that there actually was a password. i remember sending my laptop in to have the hard drive wiped, and it must have been them who set a password but made the computer bypass having to type it in when the computer starts up. i have tried starting in safe mode and trying the administrator account but it appears to have a password too. the hint for the normal user account is welcome1 which i have no idea what it would be. is there a way i can get into the computer?
thanks

So ask them. Closing this as we do not help with passwords.
