Question C:\WINDOWS\assembly ?
Could someone explain what C:\WINDOWS\assmebly is? Here is a partial list of the contents:

Do you have Quicken or Quick Books installed? I ask only because the word Intuit shows up in that file list.

\Windows\Assembly is actually the Global Assembly Cache. It's part of .NET Framework. It's where shared pieces of code are stored.
