Question Problems with Int E, Outlook Exp, & "Connections" tab of Internet Options.
I have 3 seperate problems although I am sure they are related.

1) Outlook Express loads, but hangs with an "egg-timer sign" if any buttons are clicked upon.

2)Internet explorer will not run at all !!!

3) If the control panel is opened and Internet Options selected followed by clicking on the "Connections" tab, a box is displayed showing an "exception" in C:\WINDOWS\system32\shel32.dll,Control_RunDLL
C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetcpl.cpl",Internet Options"

My first action was to run AVG - Clean
then Malwearbytes - Clean
then Spybot search and destroy -Clean

I then tried a system restore from 2 days before the problem - no difference, reloaded Internet explorer. no difference.

Luckilly Firefox still works or I would be totally stuck|

Does anyone have any suggestions please, the family are giving me severe grief because they cannot acces their old emails.
