XP Restarts itself after standby or hibernation - weird!
Hello kind people!
I've struck a weird problem that I cannot find a solution for despite some serious googling.

I have recently reformated and reloaded windows on my Asus laptop, and after a week of normal operation I've struck a new problem.

I can put it into standby and hibernation mode without a problem, but when I want to use the computer again, the thing restarts itself automatically.

Coming back from hibernation, I press the power button and it restarts straightaway.
Coming back from standby I have a couple of minutes before it shuts itself down and restarts.

Any ideas what is going on? Its probably something to do with the powersave options, but nothing I've done there makes a difference to this minor, but annoying problem.

Looking forward to your help
