Question Boot Sector Damaged
If the boot sector is damaged, can it be repaired, or if not, does the HD have to be replaced ?? OS XP Home SP3

Thanks,

If you have the windows XP installation disk, you can
boot to it and hit R for repair console according to the
onscreen prompts.
At the command prompt type fixboot or fixmbr
and hit enter.
