You have a very old version(5.3) of CyberLink PowerDVD. It's primarily used to watch DVD movies in your computer. Unless you actually use it, uninstall it.

You have MusicMatch Jukebox. Unless you actually use it to download and organize music clips, uninstall it.

Besides the Windows Live Messenger chat program, it looks like you've installed every "Windows Live" program that's available. Do you actually use them all?

You've got Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX installed, but you don't appear to have Sun Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0.17(the current version) installed. Flash and java are both needed so you can view all the content of websites.

Thanks again!

Marcell:

If you uninstalled CyberLink PowerDVD, go into the C:\Program Files folder and delete the CyberLink or PowerDVD folder - if it's still there.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Now that you've installed Sun Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0.17, do the following:

Go into Start - Run - MSCONFIG - OK - Startup(tab) and uncheck jusched.

Go into Start - Run - SERVICES.MSC - OK and change Java Quick Starter from Automatic to Manual.

Restart afterwards.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

I assumed that you want to keep Windows Live Messenger to chat with. You can uninstall the other programs(in bold type) if you don't actually use them.

Windows Live Call
Windows Live Communications Platform
Windows Live Essentials
Windows Live Essentials
Windows Live Mail
Windows Live Messenger
Windows Live Photo Gallery
Windows Live Sign-in Assistant
Windows Live Sync
Windows Live Upload Tool
Windows Live Writer

I tried to run SYSTEM RESTORE but I can't. It's checked : turn off System Restore has been disabled by Group Policy..... what that means?

I'm glad to hear that System Restore is disabled and you were unable to use it. If you had restored to a previous date, you would've negated a lot of the work that's been done here, and possibly caused other problems. System Restore isn't a "miracle cure" and shouldn't be used at a whim.

Close all open windows and then post a new HijackThis log here.

Marcell:

You're still using Internet Explorer 6 and need to update to 7 or 8 because of the added enhancements and security features.

You're going to find some websites stop working with 6 and only work with 7 and 8, which is another reason to upgrade.

Here is the download link for 7.

Here is the download link for 8.

The slow scrolling your are describing can be observed when a video card driver needs to be updated.

Click on Start > Run > type devmgmt.msc

Scroll down to Display adapters.

Click on the + sign to expand.

Right-click on your video card and select Update Driver...
