When you click the + in Display Adapters, what's the description of the device listed?

When you double-click that device description and then click the Driver tab, what's the driver version listed?

Marcell:

What's the "service tag number" of that computer? It'll be on a sticker on the case.

Marcell:

Service tag number 2TG1771 is registered at the Dell site to a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop.

I highly suggest that you keep this site in your browser favorites list for reference because it's specific to your laptop.

Phantom010 linked you to the display driver. It's the one named "ATI - Driver".

Download and save the file, close all open windows, install it, then restart your computer.

Good luck! I'm going off-line for the night. I'll check back with your thread in the morning.

PHANTOM010: I download the driver R101351 but I can't INSTALL it because there is a prompt warning: "To ensure no interruptions VBIOS flash operations, both AC and battery with at least 35% charge are required" and the options are RETRY and CANCEL. I CLICK RETRY and nothing.... The AC cable is plugged.... what can I do at this point?

I think your laptop may have a problem with the DC power connector (AKA power jack). Even though the AC adapter is plugged, the laptop runs on the battery power. It happens because the power jack is not making good connection with the motherboard. As a result, the motherboard is not getting power from the adapter and runs on the battery power instead. The laptop works until the battery dries out and then it suspends. Did you notice if the battery starts charging if you wiggle the power plug inside the power jack a little bit? If it does, most likely the problem is related to the power jack and it has to be resoldered or replaced.

I don't think the problem is there, because the Battery doen't hold the charge for more than 5 mins. or less. The Laptop is always ON, plugged with the AC POWER CONNECTOR! I have problem ONLY when accidentaly gets unplugged....

Perhaps that's why you get the prompt "To ensure no interruptions VBIOS flash operations, both AC and battery with at least 35% charge are required". Your battery is dead.
