Go to http://www.trndmicro.com and download HijackThis. Install it in accordance with the instructions and click to Scan and Save a Log. Copy and Paste that log into Notepad and then back here for advice on how to trim down the list of programmes that start up when you switch on. That will help speed things up and the log will also show signs of any malware in the system.

It will also help if you could post details of the processor and RAM (memory) from the General tab in Control Panel>System and the size and free space remaining on your hard disk from My Computer.

Post a HijackThis log and post your computer specs, as requested.

I fear you may have done too much damage by using registry cleaners and boosters and optimizers, but we'll give it a shot.

Hello shazrox. You could try these utiliies if they work for you all well and good if not follow flavallee's and Saga Louts
advice.
http://www.auslogics.com/en/software...efrag/download
http://www.registry-clean.net/free-registry-defrag.htm
http://www.windowsstartup.com/download.php
with startup follow the simple symbols after pressing the consult button anything without info go on line to check. One more thing everything is reversable.
Good Luck.

rka0:

Please don't recommend or encourage the use of registry cleaners/boosters/optimizers.

Hey Bob
i have already used auslogics and defragmented the disc twice with two different softwares...
i think there is some other issue...i have also done disc check...and it took 13 hours for that, which i think is not normal...

1.99.1 is a very old version of HijackThis.

Go here and download version 2.0.2, close all open windows, install it in its default location: C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis, run a scan with it, save the log in Notepad, then copy-and-paste the log here.

Hello flavallee. It is not a booster it is a defrag tool as is the disk defrag tool. I would never post anything that would harm someones machine.

shazrox:

Go here and here and click the green icon at each site to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.41 and SUPERAntiSpyware 4.29.0.1004.

Close all open windows, then install them both. Make sure to update their definition files during the install process.

After they're both installed and updated, restart your computer.

Advise me when you've gotten this done, then I'll give you further instructions for their use.

Start Malwarebytes and run a "quick scan" with it.

When the scan is finished, select and allow it to remove EVERYTHING it finds.

Restart your computer if prompted to.

Start SUPERAntiSpyware and run a "quick scan" with it.

When the scan is finished, select and allow it to remove EVERYTHING it finds.

Restart your computer if prompted to.

Start Malwarebytes again, then click Logs(tab).

Highlight the scan log entry, then click Open.

When the scan log appears in Notepad, copy-and-paste it here.

Start SUPERAntiSpyware again, then click Preferences - Statistics/Logs(tab).

Highlight the scan log entry, then click View Log.

When the scan log appears in Notepad, copy-and-paste it here.

(2 important things to remember: Don't use your computer when it's scanning, and make sure to remove EVERYTHING that's found.)
