reinstalled windows xp & having troubles connecting to the internet
Hi - I recently installed a new harddrive in my dell laptop, and reinstalled windows xp using CDs provided by dell. i went through the entire process, and also installed drivers recommended by the dell ultilies CD. after doing so, I've been able to connect to an unprotected internet network in my area, however, i am unable to connect to MY password protected connection. my network appears in my 'choose a wireless network' screen, but i receive an error saying that the network is out of range (i do not even get prompted to input the password). my housemates have not had any similar issues with the internet lately.

looking at my device manager, i do not have any '?' or '!' under my network adapters. the intel (r) pro/wireless 2200bg network connection appears next to a green computer chip icon.

i do however have a '?' under 'other devices', which includes 3 'base system devices' as well as one 'pci device'.

if anyone can lend a hand i would be very greateful. thank you in advance.
