| PC Turning itself off Hi long time since I've been here but new problem, If I'm running several programs at once sometimes my PC will turn itself off without warning. Now my PC is a heap of junk and replacing parts or getting a new one is not an option at the moment due to finances I'm just wondering is there some tweeks I could do to it to help it run a bit better and stop it turning itself off. Thanks in advance. | You will have better luck posting your results in the security & HJT forum. O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [REMOTE BAGS] C:\DOCUME~1\Elisia\APPLIC~1\SENDFI~1\bird web sixth.exe Looks suspicious and could possibly be related to the adware infection. Do not remove anything yourself wait till a trusted security advisor comes and reads your post. Quote:

| You have too much unnecessary crap installed and too many unnecessary programs automatically loading and running. You have malware/spyware infestation. You need to uninstall Uniblue Registry Booster. Never ever install and use a registry cleaner/booster/optimizer. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Go here and click the green icon to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.41. Go here and click the green icon to download SUPERAntiSpyware 4.30.0.1004. Close all open windows, then install them both. Make sure to update their definition files during the install process. After they're both installed and updated, restart your computer. Don't do anything else with them yet. Advise when you've done that. -------------------------------------------------------------------- |

| Thanks for posting the 2 scan logs. If you keep downloading from torrent sites, you're going to keep infecting your computer or worse. Post a new HijackThis log here so we can get that bloated startup load trimmed down. ------------------------------------------------------------------ |

| Let's see what's in that computer. Start HijackThis. Click on the "Open The Misc Tools Section" button. Click on the "Open Uninstall Manager" button. Click the "Save List" button. Save the "uninstall_list.txt" file somewhere. It'll then open in Notepad. Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the entire file here. --------------------------------------------------------------- |
