Restart your computer, when its starting up press delete. That will bring you to a screen, go to integrated peripherals and you will see HD Audio etc. , enable it and press F10 to save it

I tried restarting it and i kept mashing delete the whole time but nothing happened. The only thing it mentions is like f2 for boot device selection menu and f10 for setup or something like that.

Concerning the Service Pack 3. I'm pretty sure I have it. But when I turn on automatic updates it tries to update service pack 3 (or update to 3 from SP2, im not sure which) and i click download and it gets to like 10% and disappears so I'm not sure whats up with that either.

I also tried downloading SP3 from microsoft and installing it but it said I already had it so I guess that means I do have it

That one seems to be behaving like the other ones... : /. I had one idea though. I tried to go to program files where the realtek folder was and click on a few things to see what happened. Such as the "mixer selector" and "realtek sound manager". But nothing happens when I double click them. An hourglass (loading symbol) appears for a second but only a second or so. I thought that might be helpful so I told you guys about it.

Have you tried enabling the onboard audio in the BIOS as suggested by Blackmirror?

I'm not sure how to do that lol. If it is by restarting and pushing the "delete" key then that isnt working. Nothing happens when I push the delete key when the computer is starting up. Otherwise please tell me how to enable the onboard audio in the BIOS. I'm ok with computer but I don't know how to do that.

Depending on the BIOS's manufacturer the settings may vary.

Example:

In the BIOS, go to the Advanced section > PCI Configuration > Onboard PCI Devices Control > Enable Onboard PCI Audio Controller

At boot-up, you need to either hit F1, F2, DEL, ESC or F10.

For a Phoenix BIOS, it's either CTRL+ALT+ESC, CTRL+ALT+S or CTRL+ALT+INS.
