I need to leave for a few hours. I'll try to come back later in the day or evening.

OK I tried all of those combinations of buttons. F2 takes me to "setup" where I can change the boot order so I'm guessing that is not where I need to go (there is an item that has "BIOS" in the setup but I cannot seem to go down to it to change it so I dunno if that's what you are talking about).

F12, even though you didnt mention that one, takes me to the actual boot device seletion menu for when I want to boot from a CD or w/e.

F1, Delete, Esc, and F10 keys do not do anything (I'm guessing I have to push them when the "Phoenix Technologies" Logo comes up?). Ctrl+Alt+s and Ctrl+Alt+insert also do not do anything.

Ctrl+Alt+Esc actually does something though. It takes me to a black screen with some text. It's really hard to read the text because I am only on this screen for about 2 seconds before it auto boots into windows xp. But Ive rebooted several times in order to read some of it. What I made out was:
First it has some copyright information of Phoenix technologies.

I looked for BIOS and actually saw: Video Bios - Shadowed (I think that's what it said).

That's all I could really make out so far. If i need to go back to that screen then I can....

Talk to ya whenever ya get back.

If you get to a screen with the boot order, your are in the BIOS. Does it look similar to THIS? You should have an Advanced tab.

Yeah it looks very similar to that. Except I don't have an advanced tab : /....hmm. I think the only tabs I have are "main" "boot" and "exit". Is there a way I can get the advanced tab?

On some computers, in order to get to the other options, while on the screen you are describing, you need to hit CTRL+F1. But this never happened to me as my settings are all under one screen.

I thought I had reset the BIOS to default but I wasnt sure. What I meant was that under the "main" tab I pushed a button that said it set all the options to default so I thought it meant the BIOS too. But again I wasn't too sure of myself. I'll go back in and see if i can find the "advanced" tab. I guess ill try pushing ctrl+F1

In the Main menu, do you get any other options? Nothing on onboard integrated devices?

You should have an Advanced tab though. I don't quite understand why yours is not showing. If you had a manual, it would surely help.

Cyberpower didnt get me a manual. Now I wish that they had though. I've rebooted about 20 times trying all those options lol. The picture that phantom showed me looks almost exactly like my setup screen though. Except for the fact that I only have 3 tabs....ever since I got my computer I dont remember seeing more than three tabs. Really wish I knew how to make more tabs appear though : /

Your computer specs are a bit confusing.

Please click on Start > Run > type (or paste): msinfo32

Hit CTRL+A to select all, CTRL+C to copy, CTRL+V to paste the specs in your next post.

Compal seems to be very uncommon. I almost can't find any information. I can't find any user's manual.

You could try writing to NBService@compal.com and ask them either for detailed info on the BIOS and the onboard audio (+ driver) or for a user's manual.
