Problems with mouse? Op system? virus?
There are several problems I am encountering. I will list them
1. When on the desktop/ in folders, if i click once on an icon it automatically highlights it as if i were going to rename it. When in a folder specifically, i cannot scroll through the list because it always jumps back to the highlighted icon. So I have to click on the last visible icon, scroll down until its at the top (first visible icon), click on the last visible icon, scroll down.... etc. This is very annoying, especially when in music folders, txt files, etc.

2. When in programs such as photoshop, acid music, guitar pro, etc., I cannot go about my work because it seems to find an attribute in the program and continuously click on it. For ex., in Fruity Loops, it opens a window and as soon as i close it, it already opens again leaving me fighting the computer to close it. It gets me nowhere. I can't use it or many programs for that fact.

I have tried a few things to fix the problem.
1. Ran a scan in Spyware Dr.
2. Adjusted mouse settings
3. Restarted comp a few times.
4. Ran scan in ESET
5. Ran scan in SpyBot

Please help!!!!! I want my computer and programs back!!!!
Thank you very much

The first problem would seme to down to the mouse being confused between a left click you want and the right click it's giving you. Is there a sticky button or wheel on this mouse? Do you have another computer on which you can test it to eliminate the possibility of malware involvement?

This is an oddity. Did it come with a device driver including its own setup console? Has it ever worked in that particular machine? Your malware scans should have been sufficient to find anything serious amiss
