hey,
i am a constant user of Adobe Premiere Pro, and i normally used it on my 32 bit installation of Windows XP. but when i installed a 64-bit version of Windows XP and ran Premiere, it lagged. badly.
any ideas?
something tells me that it is because it's running in 32-bit compatibility mode...
an extract from part of the adobe website:
"After optimizing and architecting three versions of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for 64-bit systems, Adobe has decided that future versions of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects software will offer native support for 64-bit operating systems. Because 64-bit operating systems offer superior performance, future releases of these products will not be supported on 32-bit operating systems."
that leads me to believe, as they said '
Future versions of Adobe Premiere Pro...'
yea.
something also tells me that the only way around it until they come out with CS5 (oh geez, the 5th one

) is to install 32-bit windows XP
opinions? i've sided with installing 32 bit.
