Problem

Came home from work today and having a problem with the computer. The OS is Windows XP.

The problem is this. Mozilla Firefox would not open. I had to reinstall a previous version and it is not the up to date version. Furthermore the search system via xp won't open and neither will outlook express.

I have tried a system restore but no luck. Any ideas?

check for viruses and malware and see if that is causing the problem and when you go to start these applications start them and open the task manager and go to processes and let us know if the process like firefox.exe is actually running, this will help us help you
