Computer unable to connect to DHCP server
Hey all,

I need some help. I have recently got a new internet connection and I have three computers in my house, and one of them wouldnt connect to network (wirelessly or wired). It used to be able to connect just fine but now its either limited or no connectivity or it says its connected but wouldnt browse. Ive tried changing firewall settings and renewing ip but it says that it cant connect to DHCP server, dont really know what else to do. Any help would be appreciated

Have you checked Device Manager under Hardware tab to see if there are any question marks there?

Have you done updates recently? Quite often settings can be changed by doing updates.

PC connects to other networks, so I dont think its hardware problem. How do I check the workgroup?

If you have at least one computer that is connecting to the network correctly, then you right-click on My Computer > Properties > Computer Name. There it should have 'Computer description', 'Computer name' and 'Workgroup'.

Connect to the remaining system(s), follow the same process, and then click the 'Change' button. Change the workgroup name to the same as the working computer, then Apply and restart. let us know how this goes.
