Question Solved: Defraging
I have recently been defraging 1 of 2 hdd my C:\ drive. At the end of the Disk Defragmentation a message appeared asaying 'Some files on this volume could not be defragmented. Please check the defragment report for the list of these files.. It says

Fragents File size File Name
2 1.89GB \Documents & Settings\Ean\MyDocuments\ My Pictures\
69,932 4.27GB \Documents & Settings\NetworkServices\Application
Data\agi\log\pyagcore.log
438 6.86GB \Documents & Settings\Ean\My Documents\images\
Image.nrg.

it also shows that there's still a lot of fragented file ( RED BLOCK ) but when I have analyze the disk it say that it does not need to be defragmented.

does anyone have any ideas on how to regain the fragmented areas

Try this freebie http://download.cnet.com/Auslogics-D...-10567503.html

I usually set aside the time to defrag and do it regardless wether it is " needed " or not .

Let us know if it works for you . Click on action > defrag and optimize . It can take a while so maybe set it up before going to bed or leaving the computer for a while .
