yepp got one this morning then message about sending error report which i always do.
in my bios it says 2006 so maybe its 5 years old
it is a big heavv sturdy machine silver top
when i log on first the intel then windows then hp logo then welcome
i tried to make a new account but it wont let me.isn't this fun??
he..about those 2 clusters that windows replaced what are clusters?????????

Sorry for your loss. But, what died? The hard drive or the entire laptop? You still haven't explicitly told us if you got an XP installation CD or Recovery disks with it.

well terry just the hard drive died i started another thread about maybe replacing the hard drive..
thanks for all your help..i love this site.
anyway in the mean time i went to ebay and got a much nicer laptoppy that i,m on now it has win 7
a real joy almost new hooray
