Every time my computer comes back from standby mode the screen res changes to where it's too large for the screen and so it scrolls when the mouse touches the edges of the screen. My solution so far is to go into the display properties where it still lists the resolution as 1680x1050, applying 1600x900, and then re-applying 1680x1050. Maybe some of you have seen this problem, maybe I'm the only one, but let me tell you - IT REALLY BUGS ME! This is the reason I don't use standby much and waste power instead. So save the environment and help me out if you can. THANKS

Assume you have a laptop, not a PC (yes/no?). What OS (Win XP)? Have you tried googling the problem? For example, I found this. It's 2-3 years old, but the last message in the thread my work.
