Performance Issues

I am running Windows XP Home Edition and I am having extremely slow performance at certain times. The performance is usually slowest at startup, when on the internet, and while playing games. Startup procedures may take 10 minutes before the computer is functional, the internet may take 5 minutes to come or never open or the internet will simply run incredibly slowly (this is especially a problem with firefox and when on facebook), and when I am playing games (such as Warcraft III) the computer runs extremely slowly (especially when the internet is running). Sometimes when I minimize a game and try to maximize it will be as long as two minutes to maximize the program.

How much free space
How much ram
Processor speed.
Anti-virus by name please
Firewall XP or Comodo etc. Internet firewall
Pop-up blockers
Spyware
Please provide those before we start.

Free Space: 48.4 GB on C: drive; 1.20 TB on External Hard Drive F:
RAM: 1022 MB
Processor Speed: 3.00 GHz
Anti-Virus: Spybot SD, AVG, Spyware Guard
Firewall: XP Firewall
No Pop-up blockers that I know of
Just did a malware, spyware, and all other virus removal in the malware removal forums

A Work-in-Progress While we do strive to fix any compatibility problems that may arise, we cannot guarantee that it will not conflict with other security software on your machine. SpywareGuard has also not been tested with Windows Vista
Re above - free - I presume UNINSTALL it.
See if any improvement.
If NOT please do this and then report result.

I am running Windows XP. Is Spyware Guard tested with Windows XP?Do you have a specific suggestion for a replacement Anti Spyware?

Go here and click the installer link in version 2.0.4 to download and save HiJackThis 2.0.4.

After it's been downloaded and saved, close all open windows first, then double-click the saved file to install it. Allow it to install in its default location.

After it's been installed, start it and then click "Do a system scan and save a log file".

When the scan is finished in less than 30 seconds, a log file will appear. Save that log file.

Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the entire log file here.

Get rid of Spybot - Search & Destroy and Spyware Guard and replace them with

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.46

SUPERAntiSpyware 4.41.0.1000

They're more user-friendly and do a better job and are light on system resources.

I realise you are running XP.
However whilst I do not criticise the program Spyware Guard per se. you should not run that and Spybot.
together.
Generally you need one Real Time Protection Malware ie: anti-virus.
A good firewall - I use Comodo, but there are others. It is I think better than the inbuilt Windows one.
A good Spyware as SASpy suggested by Flavallee.
Malwarebytes free edition does not provide Real Time Protection that is why we have left AVG for the time being.
If you try the clean boot which is simple to initiate we will then know, if that solves the problem that Flavallee can look at the Hijack and opine what is causing the problem. It cannot just be Add-ons in the Mozilla as loading of XP is also slow.

Wait for Flavallee to reply, he is far more experienced than me, at reading these HiJack logs.
I do not see anything alarming but you have far too many unnecessary Update this, manage this, notifiers, etc running.
While you wait for Flavallee, do the clean boot and see , you maybe surprised.
