comp has been running really slow..
hello. My fujitsu tablet has been running really slowly. sometimes it runs at normal speed and then sometimes it takes 5 minutes to open google.com.... the other day it took almost 20 minutes to turn on and load the desktop. just not sure what's going on. any help would be great. i'm not sure if there's a virus or just too much on it. thanks for any help. Here's everything but the Gmer file...my comp froze twice when i tried to run that. let me know if you need it and i'll try again

Too many scanners running in real-time (Windows Defender, Spybot, Norton...) will surely slow down a computer. I would uninstall Windows Defender and Spybot. Replace them with the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (no real-time scanning) and run periodic scans depending on your surfing habits. When installed, set it so it doesn't settle in the Startup programs (msconfig).

Norton is certainly not the best antivirus software for a slow computer. You should look for a lighter alternative.

I would also get rid of the Bonjour Service. It has been known to cause a few issues.

Your running processes are oddly showing two wuauclt.exe (Windows Automatic Updates) instances. I would change Automatic Updates to Notify me but don't automatically download or install them.

You have too many Startup applications loading with Windows. This can significantly increase your Startup time and affect overall performance.

Please download and run Autoruns.

Click on Options.

Put a check mark on Hide Microsoft and Windows Entries.

Hit the F5 key to refresh your page.

Only non-Microsoft applications will be showing.

Select the Logon tab and uncheck the following items:

FjStrtAp

IndicatorUtility

LoadBtnHnd

KADxMain

OmniPass

Windows Defender

nmctxth

SunJavaUpdateSched

TkBellExe

KernelFaultCheck

LWS

SpybotSD TeaTimer

Logitech . Product Registration.lnk

Other than your antivirus, firewall and Internet connectivity service, the Startup Type on most of your non-Microsoft Services (from programs YOU have installed), can be changed from Automatic to Manual. This will reduce the amount of processes running in the background and speed up your computer.

Do not worry about making the wrong choices. If some programs aren't running properly when their Service's Startup Type is set to Manual, everything can be restored to the way it was before, following the same procedure. There isn't any risk involved.

Run Autoruns again (with a check mark on Hide Microsoft and Windows Entries).

Select the Services tab.

Only non-Microsoft services will be showing.

Right-click on any service.

Click on Jump to...

You will now be at the exact registry key for that service.

In the right-hand pane, look at the DWORD Start.

The last number at the end of the entry will be either:

(0) for Boot.

(1) for System.

(2) for Automatic.

(3) for Manual.

(4) for Disabled.

If you want to change the value, double-click on Start and change the number accordingly.

Run HijackThis again.

Put a check mark on the following entry:

O24 - Desktop Component 1: Ink Desktop - {80E95280-2D38-3CB8-A215-FB5F14C4343E}

Click on Fixed checked.

Reboot the computer.

Post a new HijackThis log.
