The requested lookup key was not found in any active activation context.
I am reloading a Dell Precision M6300 and was running Microsoft Updates on it. I finished with the first batch of 86 Updates and it said I needed to restard my computer. Since the restart I have been getting "The requested lookup key was not found in any active activation context." any time I try going to Microsoft Update or attempt to navigate away from the home page in Internet Explorer. Can anyone assist me on fixing this issue?

By reloading, do you mean a clean install, a system recovery, or a repair install?
What version of IE?
If IE7 or IE8, uninstall then re-install IE

It was a clean install. Formatted hard drive, new partitions, ect. I believe the first round of updates upgraded from IE7 to IE8. On the Latitude D520 I am doing the same thing with, IE8 crashes when you attempt to open it (Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close) after installing IE8 via Microsoft Update. the common denominator with my IE problems as I see it is Microsoft Update. Is this a common experience?
