Right-click your Taskbar

Click "Task Manager"

Under the "Performance" tab you should see how much "Total Physical Memory" you have.

How do I know if added memory is working?
Hello,
I have just added a memory module to my system. The " My Computer specs haven't altered nor has the bios" how do I know if the additional memory is being recognized and utilized?
Thanks,
mbk

http://www.crucial.com/ Follow this link and do a scan . It will let you know what you have onboard and how much your computer can handle . Please don't start more than one thread for the same problem . It gets too confusing for us all .

Right click "My Computer", choose "Properties" and you should see the processor and memory towards the bottom of the box that opens up.
