can I get SP3 after a system restore?
hello. I am not familiar at all with system restores using the restore CD I purchased from Sony, so I need to ask for help. ....
I need to restore my computer using a Restore disk I purchased from Sony. It is XP. Originally, 6 yrs. ago, the OS only had Service Pack 2. I downloade SP 3.Will I be able to download SP 3 after I restore my computer to its original state? I need SP 3 to use PhotoShop and a few other programs. Any help wil be appreciated.

Yes,you can get it from windows update.
Just install updates and restart as required,then run
updates again.
Once it has the required previous updates,SP3 will
prompt you on windows update.

One or two more ways to obtain SP3>

Get it from Microsoft on CD >> https://om2.one.microsoft.com/opa/Va...vaScriptOn=yes

Borrow a friends's MS CD for SP/3 >>> This OK to do, the CDs are all the same
