Exclamation Solved: Bad image error
I am getting this bad image errors on .exe apps.
when i first boot up my computer and i get on google chrome, everything is fine
then after a while that "aww snap" page appear and the message adobe flash has crashed
this also happens on mozilla firefox.
so i shut it down and try to reopen the browser
thats when i receive this error message

Chrome.exe-Bad image
the application or dll c:\Documents and settings\<computer name>\local settings\application data\google\chrome\application\7.0.517.44\chrome.dll is not a valid windows image.
Please check this against your installation diskette.

Never install more than one antivirus on a computer. You should remove Norton/Symantec with the Norton Removal Tool.

Also uninstall all old versions of Java and only keep the latest Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0_22.

I ran the Norton Removal Tool, and it worked i don't have Norton messages popping up anymore
thank you i didn't know i had to remove it.
I uninstalled the old Java version and installed the new one, but
I can't remove the file J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 update 5 from the add or remove programs, because it doesn't have a file size and it doesn't have the remove button.
