    Case Fans Not Showing RPM

6 case fans running at max speed has to sound like a hair dryer.:eek::eek:

    Case Fans Not Showing RPM

Why would you want the fans running at max speed? That is going to be quite loud. Here is what I would do. You have 3 fan headers on that board and a pump header [most bios will allow you to config the pump header as a fan header] I would use 3 or 4 fans and connect them to the motherboard. You...

My PC isn't seeing my monitors, mouse or keyboard

It is still possible to find system specs; you open the case and look. Each part will have the mfg/model# silkscreened on the PCB or will have a label with the relevant info. Was this system working ok before this issue OR were there other problems? My first guess [and it is only a guess] is...

    Case Fans Not Showing RPM

Are you using a fan controller or what? I highly doubt a single motherboard fan header is able to supply all of the pw for 6 case fans. If you are using a fan controller, then the speed would be controlled through that OR the controller will plug into the fan header on the board.

My computer turns on then off

OK, you are posting in a hardware forum and no one [other than you] has any idea what hardware you are running. Post all of your exact system specs. How exactly did you do this task? How to properly R&R ram chips; 1 System OFF and pw cord removed from the pw supply, press the ON button 2~3...

Hardware issue or not? if so....what?

If it were me, I would opt for a newer motherboard/processor however you do have a lot of intel boards sitting around now. Since nothing has fixed the problem, you could try the following. Boot into the bios and up the cpu voltage slightly and repeat the memory test. Most asus boards use an...

Hardware issue or not? if so....what?

You have done just about all of the troubleshooting possible. The only suggestion I have is that there is a possibility that the memory controller [which is part of the processor on all modern systems] has a problem or has failed. This would explain why you keep getting memory errors even with...

Solved PC not booting after dusting off, red light on motherboard

You would not be the first nor will you be the last person to knock something loose while inside the case. Remove the pw cord from the back of the pw supply. Now reseat ie pull out and reinstall both atx and aux/cpu pw connectors on the motherboard. Be sure they are fully seated. Pull out the...

New PC Build - Shutoff After Powered On for Extended Periods

What are you using to monitor temps? Asus has monitoring software on the support page; called dual intelligent processors. Use that OR use ryzen master to monitor temps. I noticed on the support page a LOT of bios updates that address system stability. Are you running the latest bios? If you...

Strange Power On Behaviour on newly built PC

I checked the support page for your motherboard and the latest bios does address boot issues/time. Are you running the latest bios? Next item. Have you checked for firmware updates for your ssd? If not, do so. Some motherboards will have a setting where you can adjust the amount of time the...

Compatible motherboard for the gear I have already purchased

Not going to work until the bios is updated. You need bios 4801 or later to run your cpu. Being this is a used motherboard, you would have to contact the seller to determine IF the board was ever updated. If you want a board with native support for the 3xxx processors, you would have to go with...
