Well i managed to save all vital data from the HDD as it managed to copy the files at a very low speed somehow in the end but can't complain. It finally gave his final breath.
Bought a new one to replace this old friend.

The chkdsk commands did not work as i kept getting the message that "The disk is write protected"
As for the crystalmark info here is an attached imaged. Seems the HDD may be indeed close to death. I just wish there was a way to recover at least a bit of data. It's strange i can see all the...
Hello all, i am having some issues with my HDD and i can't determine what's causing them. Allow me to describe.
I have connected to my PC several SSD drivers and a HDD. The HDD is a 1tb Seagate that ran fine until recently.
The issues :
- The HDD randomly appears or disapears from "My...
Windows defender is the only AV installed at the moment.
I previously installed all the updates that were available and the shut down was happening more often then it is now, as well as the random screen freeze with the looping sound effect. I rolled back every driver and the shut down is not...

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 from 7 and ever since my PC randomly shuts down when playing Video Games mostly.
I have tried cleaning up the PC of dust, applied thermal paste.
Tried multiple GPU drivers.
Unchecked the sleep mode and the fast boot options Windows 10 has.
As the title suggests.Whenever i boot up my pc / restart it ,it takes a good 5 to 10 minutes for the disk activity to return to low values. In that first period it stays at a constant 100% disk usage making my PC very slow to the point that if i try and move my cursor on the screen it...
The Fan itself has a female connector ( i think it's called female ) ( two holes, no pins ) and it's connected to the Male slot that's attached to the PSU ( that has two pins ).
My question really is that ,if i take a case fan that has 3 holes not 2 ,would it work if i connect it to the Male...
A poor choice of words maybe,my bad. English is not my first language.
Ok so , the fan in the PSU is connected via a 2 PIN connector, however all CASE fans i can find for sales are connected via a 3 pin connector. Would a 3 pin connector work if i mount it on the 2 pin slot ? ( i know it sounds...
Thank you for the reply, i have found out that the cooler within the PSU itself is a 2 pin connected fan.
Would it be a good choice to totally replace the fan itself with a more silent one,for example a noctua model ?
EDIT : Yes ,it is mounted properly.I use the 2.2 version that is previewed...
Hello all,i recently bought a new PSU and so far it seems to do the job quite well, however when i run certain more demanding games like The Witcher 3 and the PSU itself goes into high load, the fan makes quite a lot of noise.
Most reviews i saw online about the PSU seem to say it's not loud at...
Thank you for the reply, here is the info.

Greetings, i recently purchased a new GPU and a new monitor. However windows does not show all available memory for the GPU itself. I do have the latest drivers installed for the GPU. Do i need to install something extra ? Does the PC not use all available memory of the GPU ?
Here are some of...
