Solved: Lenovo 3000 N200 battery fail

Yeah? Okay, you're about the third person with credibility who's said this so I think that may very well be the case. I hope this is the case. Thanks.

Solved: Lenovo 3000 N200 battery fail

Apologies for that. Yes, I have done, and have just had another go at it. When I re-insert the battery, my battery indicator light lights up red on the front, which usually indicates that a battery is present but is running low. After a few seconds, the light just goes off and I'm back where I...

Solved: Lenovo 3000 N200 battery fail

Hey guys. A few weeks ago, I was watching a video on my Lenovo 3000 N200 laptop, and I was called away to do something. I had it running on the battery (as a power source). When I got back, I found that the laptop had shut itself off. I just assumed that the battery had run out and that the...

    Java: Java and HTML

Hi people. I simply want to have a JLabel print out a String on multiple lines. I was quite surprised to find that this isn't a basic and initial option. Anyway, I read on Oracle.com that one can use HTML in Java, which would apparently allow me to insert simple <br> tags for a line break...

    C# (XNA 3D) Collecting items in a 3D game

Hi again people. Right now I'm having to create a 3D game, and time is very short. Anyway, I come here to ask for help/guidance or whatever anyone can give me. I have a model travelling through a small 3D world, and want to be able to collect top hats, which are spread randomly throughout the...

Solved: Java: Trying to display an image

Hi guys. Today is the first time I've tried to import and display an image in a Java file I am creating, so I thought I'd try a test before I work on my proper file. Anyway, I created this short file, which should display an image, and some text below. I have followed a simple example from a...

    Solved: C# Array Multiplying

Would he need to tell the third array to increase the element position each time? Like: for (int i = 0; i <= 9; i++) { array3[i].Add(array1[i] * array2[i]); } Kinda learning myself here too I guess ha ha.

    Java: String and Double arrays

Okay... I'll rephrase a little as I've done some research. Is there anyway I can create a multi-dimensional array that holds two types of objects? Like what I ideally would need to do is create an array to hold Strings and doubles. But I've tried doing this in my JVM, to no avail: private...

    Solved: C# Array Multiplying

Okay mate. Glad I could be of some help at least. Like I said, I had Java in mind, as I have more experience of that. MMJ, supergoten wants to multiply each element against the corresponding position in the respective arrays. So basically: 1 * 2 2 * 4 3 * 6 and so on... Or at least that's how...

    Solved: C# Array Multiplying

for (int i = 0; i<=9; i++) { array1[i] * array2[i]; } I think the code should be something like that, although I'm working from Java, rather than C#, as I've only used C# to do XNA, and I can't really recall having to write a loop to multiply stuff. Anyway, I'm not too sure how to add each...

    Java: String and Double arrays

Hello people. I currently have an array of Strings, like so: private String catalogue[] = {"Apples", "Bananas", "Oranges", "Bread", "Milk", "Cheese", "Pizza", "Yoghurt", "Carrots", "Cabbage"};I have to generate a "Shopping List", using a GUI, but I need to assign prices to these array elements...

    Solved: C# Array Multiplying

So do you want to multiple, for example, element 1 in array 1, with element 1 in array 2, and so on? I'm not a genius like others here are, but if you're doing straight multiplication, why do the arrays need to be doubles? They can be integers, can't they?
