It was installed by installing win XP on the whole hard drive. The I installed SuSE linux on it. SuSE resized the windows partition and created one for itself and one for the boot bit.
Would installign them in this way mess up the partitions?
I checked the help bit and it says it fully supports Ext2.
Its wierd, when I click on the windows partition, the "Resize a partition" button is available and when I click on the Ext2 partition, it goes greyed out.

I don't know about Fedora but I installed SuSe linux and it took my windows XP partition, shrunk it, created a new partition, installed itself in the new partition and added a menu when the computer starts to let you chose linux or windows.
