The laptop is an old one, about 5-6 years. It should be legacy BIOS to my knowledge. That's why I formatted the USB drive as MBR / BIOS or UEFI-CSM.
The USB mouse does not work. I can only use keyboards to navigate in the installation window in the USB drive.
bcdedit doesn't work. Error:
C drive is system reserved.
D drive is actually where Windows installed. I'm not sure if it is the reason Windows disk failed to detect a system partition.
