    Bluetooth sound

Hi, I'm not sure if this is in the right forum or not. I have a set of Blackweb headphones that I use with bluetooth on my laptop, but for some reason the sound now breaks up. I know it isn't the headphones because it works fine with my phone and other laptop, but the laptop I need to use is...

Thank you for the help. Is there no way to access the system restore without starting windows normally? I'm hoping that may solve the issues.

    Upgrade to Win 10 problem

Thank you for the reply. It's the Acer 7250 series, model no: AAB70. And yes, this happened in June or July. I put it aside to fix later and now it's time.

    Upgrade to Win 10 problem

Hi, I attempted to go from Win 7 to Win 10 and encountered a problem. During the install, my computer froze up and stalled. I had no choice but to restart it and hope for the best. Now when I fire it up, I cant access Windows Update, System Restore or even go online. Basically when Windows loads...

    Solved: Windows update issues

OK, I did what you said, but when I do the "findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\....txt", nothing happens. It goes back to the C:Windows\system32> prompt. But the first scan did say "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them".

    Solved: Windows update issues

Thanks, but those don't address my problem. The problem is I can't start the BITS, I keep getting error 193:0xc1, and when I search for that I can't find anything that addresses the issue. The Microsoft Fixit doesn't help and the BITS repair tool keeps telling me there's nothing to fix. When I...

    Solved: Windows update issues

Hi. Windows update doesn't want to work. The error code is 80246008, which means I have to start the Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS), but when I try, I get error 193:0xc1. From what I can gather, this has something to do with a 32-64 bit issue. Anyone have an idea to how this...

    Solved: Sound issue

Today it was about 9C, but it's damp and not very nice. I'm still waiting for spring to come, I'm sick of winter. But on the bright side all the birds are back. I know what you mean about learning. When I had XP I was pretty good at fixing small issues, thanks to this place and great people like...

    Solved: Sound issue

Thanks for the reply, Macboatmaster. I'm using Vista, and yes, I've checked sound properties. And the playback devices say they're working. But I notice that "Digital Display Audio" has a green check mark, but "Speakers" and "Realtek Digital Output" don't. But all 3 says they're working.

    Solved: Sound issue

Hi. I hope this is the right place for this question. My sound stopped working for some reason. The device manager says everything it working fine, and everything else seems normal, except I'm not getting any sound at all. I have the latest drivers, too. I tried plugging the wire in the front...
