I just upgraded to windows 10 and it seems alright, the only problem I have run into so far is if I shut it down and then when I do a restart it goes to a black screen and stays there until I hold the start button until it goes off, then if I try it again it loads up just fine. Not sure where to go from here.
I found that if I press the windows key+P I can get the display to come on,it's like it tries to go to a different monitor but my laptop only has one display.Any fixes for this?
It shows two monitors, and if I go into advanced and try to set it to the pc display only and restart the computer it just goes right back to the same thing and I have to use the windows+P to get to the screen again.
I right clicked on the desktop and went into display options it was set to monitor+on board so I set it to on board display and it only shows one in monitors although it still takes two starts to have the display open. You can hear my skype load so I know it has loaded up.Oh windows+P will also open it up.
After searching online 'Glance' could be malware or at least undesirable, I am not qualified to help with that so to be on the safe side please post in the Virus & Other Malware Removal forum here :- https://forums.techguy.org/forums/virus-other-malware-removal.54/
I went to device manager to check on the full name for glance and it was gone, after that there was a popup from acer for a BIOS update and I figured it couldn't hurt so I installed it an now it seems to be working fine again. Not sure why but hey I'll take it.
Ok, I would see how it goes for a couple of days then.
I still think posting in the Malware forum is a good idea though.
