Are you asking if it is worth it for you or for me? I would spend the extra since I have an 802.11ac router, but I cannot argue that it is really worth it for me.
if my internet provider only goes to less than 100Mbps,
and my router and network card are 802.11ac, will I get better
internet performance than the 802.11n would provide?
We don't know anything about distances, obstacles, interference or other devices that would use the 2.4 GHz network. I'm torn between answering "maybe" or "it depends. "
