Shouldn't really cause a problem, you can probably delete its related files from the drive if you want.
Why did you run the wizard in the first place? Did you change anything? Reboot the wireless router as well as the modem and the computer and see if the wireless issue goes away.
Yes, it could be defective. Have you tried directly into the computer instead of the hub? Hub's are less reliable then directly into the back of the computer.
The USB hub is ok, no issues with other devices , here is a screen shot, I keep getting the "safely remove remove hardware" icon when I click on it, it shows the TP wireless adapter ?
The connection has not dropped all day, i will keep post open for another day
